Inspire – High potential and gifted education

At Dungowan Public School, we are committed to helping every student achieve their best by providing learning opportunities tailored to their unique strengths and needs. Our teachers use diverse teaching strategies to both support and challenge all learners, including those with exceptional abilities and those requiring additional assistance. We offer a range of programs specifically designed to identify and nurture giftedness across four key areas: creativity, intellectual ability, physical skills, and social-emotional strengths.

Creative Domain: Students are provided opportunities to develop innovative thinking and express their creativity. Through engaging activities, we encourage problem-solving as well as creative and critical thinking skills.

Intellectual Domain: Students are challenged with enriched learning experiences and real-world problems that promote advanced knowledge, deep inquiry, and higher-order thinking across all subjects.

Physical Domain: We help students improve their coordination, health, and physical abilities through focused activities and coached sports programs.

Social-Emotional Domain: We focus on supporting students’ emotional wellbeing and social growth by building resilience, self-awareness, and positive relationships, helping them thrive in our school community.
